Is Spain really embracing a cashless society? Has the pandemic really pushed Spaniards to ditch cash for digital payments? It seems that, despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 on consumer spending, payment card transactions have flourished, seemingly replacing cash transactions. Has the outbreak of the virus served as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of cashless payment methods in Spain?
